HESI PREP

This course is designed to help those preparing to take the HESI (A2) entrance exam required for admission to nursing school. All components of the HESI and test taking strategies will be reviewed.

PHARMACOLOGY REVIEW FOR NURSING STUDENTS

The purpose of this course is to provide the nursing student and graduate nurse with the essentials of pharmacology. This course will cover: application, drug classifications, actions, routes of administration, contraindications, adverse reactions, antidotes and nursing implications

NCLEX PREP FOR LVN/RN STUDENTS

This course is designed to prepare the graduate nurse to successfully sit for the NCLEX-PN or this NCLEX-RN. This course focuses on test taking strategies for multiple choice and select all that apply. The types of questions that will be covered in this course include: Knowledge, application, comprehension, analysis and prioritizing.

PICO(T) QUESTION/THESIS/ABSTRACT DEVELOPMENT

This course is designed to inform those interested in the nursing profession on the history of nursing, education requirements, specialty areas, potential income and licensing and certification requirements.

A CAREER IN NURSING: EXPLORING THE LIMITLESS POSSIBILITIES

This course is designed to inform those interested in the nursing profession on the history of nursing, education requirements, specialty areas, potential income and licensing and certification requirements.

BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR) for 1st degree nursing students

This course is designed to teach the healthcare worker and student basic life support measures. This course is an American Heart Association course.

CPR HEARTSAVER/AED - (GROUP RATES ARE AVAILABLE)

 This course is for designed to teach the non-healthcare provider basic life saving techniques. The student will learn hands-only CPR and how to operate and automated external defibrillator. This course is an American Heart Association course.

FIRST AID - (GROUP RATES ARE AVAILABLE)

The purpose of this course is to teach the skills needed to manage a variety of emergencies such as burns, head and neck injuries, cuts, scraps and sudden illness. This course is an American Heart Association course.

AED - (GROUP RATES ARE AVAILABLE)

This course is designed to teach the student how to properly use an automated external defibrillator. This course is an American Heart Association course.
